One Kids Place has a vibroacoustic chair for their Snoezelen Sensory Room.

Officials say this thanks to a $6,200 donation form the North Bay Police Association.

The room is designed to deliver stimuli to various senses, using lighting effects, colour, sounds and music and is great therapy for children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, dementia or brain injury.

The donation was made possible through the association’s golf tournament.
