The North Bay Battalion dropped a 4-3 decision to Mississauga Thursday night at Memorial Gardens.

However, Assistant Coach Adam Dennis felt his team played a pretty good game.

“Obviously you get doubled up in penalties and that puts you behind the eight ball, but I thought we battled hard. I thought for the first time in a long time we didn’t get the goaltending that we needed, but that’s going to happen from time to time,” he says.

Matthew Struthers, Justin Brazeau and Brandon Coe (pictured) scored for North Bay in the loss.

Dennis says with the return of Struthers, it’s good see their top line back together, but that’s not all.

“What’s promising too is seeing a guy like Brandon Coe get going, the skill that he has, it’s only a matter of time. To see him shoot the puck, see him go to the net that was just as promising to us,” he says.

Next up, North Bay entertain Kingston on Sunday.
