Several OUA honours for members of the Nipissing Lakers women’s soccer team.

Co-captain Abby Wroe is a first team all-star while second team all-stars include rookie defender Lauren de Jong, second-year forward Madison Logan and fourth year veteran and co-captain Andrea Dermott.

East Division Coach of the Year honours go to the Lakers’ David Bitonti.

In a release, the OUA says Bitonti put together an impressive roster for the fourth-place finishers in the East, proving all year long that Nipissing was a serious threat.
