Support for United Way

Union Gas employees and retirees are big supporters of United Way.

They’ve donated over $33,000 to United Way North East Ontario.

Chris Minor, district manager Northeast for Union Gas says they’re honored to lend their support to such a worthwhile organization like United Way.

He says the funds have been raised through several employee led fundraising events but also through many individual donations.

He points out each individual donation is matched dollar for dollar by the company.

Erika Lougheed, manager of Nipissing and Parry Sound Districts, United Way North East Ontario says the funds raised have supported worthwhile community organizations like The Gathering Place, The Warming Centre, PADDLE and The Red Cross.
