The North Bay Battalion have made a trade just before the deadline.

The Troops have dealt defenceman Payton Vescio to the Hamilton Bulldogs for a conditional 15th-round pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection.

Vescio was taken in the fourth round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection from the North Bay Trappers major midgets by the Battalion.

Vescio, a North Bay native had four assists in 26 games with the Battalion this season.
