The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says they’ve set a snow depth record for this time of year.

The average is at 71 cm at 3 reading stations.

That compares to just under 38 cm a year ago.

The depth varies from 64 cm at North Bay’s reading station to 75 in Chisholm.

Water content in the snow is also way above average by about 36 %.
