Get the umbrella handy… a rainfall warning has been issued for the North Bay area.

Environment Canada says rain will develop tonight or overnight with the heaviest rain tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are possible by Friday morning.

The weather agency says localized flooding in low-lying areas could be an issue with the frozen ground reducing the ability to absorb the rain.
