North Bay Deputy Police Chief Scott Tod says they have a few activities ongoing this week during Police Week.

He says the main one covers the SCRAM program which is asking people for help in fighting crime through the use of video.

“We’re looking for their e mail address and a description of that public space they have a video in. That can assist us if we have crimes in a neighbourhood. We can look at a map, e mail someone and see if they have any video to show us,” Tod says.

He says they’re also highlighting their upcoming Youth In Policing initiative.

Police week wraps up on Saturday.
