The North Bay Battalion have signed their top three picks in the spring’s OHL Priority Selection.

Centre Liam Arsnby, defenceman Paul Christopoulos and right winger Alex Christopoulos have all committed to the OHL club.

They were among the 39 prospects who took part in the weekend’s orientation camp at Memorial Gardens.

One of five goalies to hit the ice was Joe Vrbetic, who tells BayToday he learned a lot last season with Powassan.

“You have to earn your spot, and you have to play good, if you feel good, you have to keep consistent and keep it up to keep that spot,” he says.

Christian Cicigoi tells BayToday coaching changes and battling for a number one spot with the Voodoos has helped him grow.

“Those two years with Powassan really helped me build my confidence and build the kind of person and teammate I am today, and I’m ready to take that next step into playing major junior,” he says.

The Battalion will hold their main training camp at the end of August.
