A Building the Resistance Rally takes place Saturday in front of MPP Vic Fedeli’s office.

It’s being organized by the North Bay and District Labour Council.

President Henri Giroux says the event is held in recognition of the first year of the Doug Ford government coming to power.

He says they encourage people to bring their pots and pans and make plenty of noise and share their stories of the impact of the government on the people.

“People can come to the mic and detail how they’ve been impacted by the changes to health care,” he says.

Giroux says the rally will include speeches and stories on the impact the government has had on residents.

“People should be really upset at the government with all the cuts. We want people to make noise and show Fedeli we’re really upset about what’s going on,” Giroux says.

He says the event begins with a march from the North Bay Museum to Fedeli’s office.

He says the march starts at 12:30.
