The King’s Landing Wharf and Marina project is the focus of a couple of events today (Tuesday) at City Hall.

From 1 pm to 4:30 pm there’s a public information session in the city hall rotunda.

Then, at 5;30 pm a special committee meeting of Council is being held to discuss the project’s multi-use pier and breakwater.

Officials say the Wharf is in poor condition and requires significant capital investment to maintain or restore it to a safe and useful condition.

The City is considering alternatives to address short-term structural concerns along with the long-term maintenance and operation of the Wharf and Marina facilities.
