The Vision Volleyball Club is showing it’s depth in the 14U age category.

Several Vision athletes are among the top players in their age group in Ontario to have been selected to attend a week-long, high-performance training camp at Guelph University.

They include Julia Dokis, Grace Clarke, Ally Dech, Audrey Ouellet, Karine Schryer, Caitlyn Labelle and Jude Caruso, who represented the boys team.

Vision also sent a coach this year.

Tessa Alyman is an assistant coach with the Vision 15U girls team.

Officials say the camp brings together all of the top players in Ontario to train, learn, bond, grow and compete, under some of the top coaches in the Province.

They add it is an amazing experience that has had great success adding members to the National Team volleyball programs and it is the envy of the rest of the country as these athletes get to develop and compete under some outstanding coaches.

Coaches also learn from each other while under the direction of two of the top youth development coaches.

Former Canadian National player and OVA Hall of Fame Coach Keith Wasylik and Chris Lawson, former Head Coach for the Waterloo Warriors.
