There are now 4 candidates running in the federal election in Nipissing-TImiskaming.

Rob Boulet was nominated last night as the NDP candidate.

He told BayToday people are tired of having to go back and forth between the liberals and Conservatives and the NDP if elected is going to make a difference for people.

“I think people are tired of it. That is tired of voting one way and the same thing happens and then you vote the other way because they say there going to do something and nothing happens. We’ve got a good platform and there’s a lot of good candidates across the country. I’m excited,” he says

He says health care is a key issue and people’s ability to pay for medicine.

“It revolves around people not able to afford medication. If you look at our riding the average income is around $24,000 and that means people can’t afford medicine and health care,” Boulet says.

Boulet will be up against Jordy Carr for the Conservatives, Mark King for the People’s Party of Canada and Anthony Rota for the Liberals.
