Swimming season is just around around the corner.

The new head coach of the North Bay Y Titans John McLeod says they’ll have a registration session and barbecue Wednesday night from 5:30-6:30 at the Y .

He says they’re expanding their program this year.

“We’re introducing a masters team this year. That’s for anyone 18 and over. We’re also going to have a non competitive group. Those are kids who are just fresh out of lessons and need an easy transition to swimming,” he says.

He says there is also changes to their web site.

“It’s very user friendly. We’ll have all the information on there including our fees and hours. You won’t have to go to the pool in person to get the information you need. You’ll be able to get what you need on line including contact information,” McLeod says.
