A collaborative art project involving L’Arche North Bay and Community Living is now on display in Callander.

The new exhibit at the Alex Dufresne Gallery features fifty pieces of art produced over a two-year period in the Adventures in Art Program.

The program saw people both with and without intellectual disabilities come together for a shared creative experience.

They worked in a variety of mediums from watercolor, paper mâché, photography, ink and more.

Officials also say beginning on Thursday September 12, Art sessions will be held at the Alex Dufresne Gallery every two weeks during the exhibition and will run from 10 am until 12 noon.

To register, please contact Natasha Wiatr, Curator of the Alex Dufresne Gallery at (705) 752-2282.

The exhibit will end on October 26th with a Closing Gala.

Tickets for this semi-formal event will be $50 each.

A portion of the ticket price will be donated to Community Living North Bay’s Outcomes Fund.

Tickets are available (cash only) at the Alex Dufresne Gallery or online.
