Two people are facing charges and an arrest warrant has been issued for a third after a home invasion earlier this week in Sturgeon Falls.

West Nipissing OPP say two Sturgeon Falls residents, a 24 year old and a 52 year old face five charges each including aggravated assault, break and enter and disguise with intent.

One person suffered non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted in their motor home early Wednesday.

The Northeast Region (NER) OPP Crime Unit, OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS), NER Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) are assisting with the investigation.

The OPP would also like to thank Greater Sudbury Police Service, North Bay Police Service and Anishinabek Police Service for their assistance with this investigation.

Police would like to inform the public that this is an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety at this time.

The investigation is continuing and further details will be released as they become available.
