North Bay’s Santa Claus parade goes today and there’s more floats this year.

Late in the week, city officials said they were at 37 floats and still getting calls.

Last year there were 34 floats entered.

Meantime, the parade route (pictured below) is different this year.

It goes along Chippewa, turns onto Ferguson and travels to Main West, ending at Main and Cassells.

The theme of the parade is ‘A Tropical Christmas’.

Kids are reminded to bring along their letters to Santa, with the North Bay Food Bank collecting non-perishable donations along the parade route too.
