OPP are reporting a 33 year old Calvin Township man was killed Saturday evening in a snowmachine crash in Bonfield Township.

Police say emergency crews were dispatched around 6 pm to the intersection of McNutt Road and Development Road.

The victim has been identifed as Michael Lapierre.

Police say the snowmachine left the roadway and the rider was ejected.

The investigation continues with a post-mortem ordered by the coroner.

Police are reminding snowmobilers to ride with caution.
