North Bay Battalion forward Brandon Coe has been named to the CHL Top Prospects game.

He’s one of 17 players from the OHL that will take part.

The game goes January 16th in Hamilton and will be broadcast on Sportsnet.

Battalion GM Adam Dennis tells BayToday it means a lot to Coe, his family and the Troops, too.

“It’s huge for not only Brandon, but our team, we haven’t had a player there in a little while so obviously we’re over the moon to see him represent us on the big stage,” Dennis told BayToday.

“We think he is a star and can dominate at this level,” adds Dennis. “I don’t think that he’s just going to want to go there and be on the team, he’s going to want to show what he can do.”

The 40 players were selected by NHL clubs and the league’s central scouting department.
