North Bay OPP filed 70 impaired driving charges in 2019

Impaired driving stats for 2019 are in from North Bay OPP.

70 drivers were charged with impaired last year, up from 46 the year before.

OPP say Saturdays had the most incidents while all times of the day saw charges.

40 percent were from 5 pm to midnight.

70 percent of the total charges were filed against men.

The first impaired charged of 2020 was laid around 1030 pm on January 1st against a Callander driver.
