A positive response to the North Bay Regional Hospital Foundation’s recent call for help in collecting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
That includes masks, protective gloves, hand sanitizer, vented goggles, and face shields.
Foundation President Tammy Morison tells BayToday the response has been great.
“The mining industry, schools, our retailers, our doctors offices and veterinary clinics, everyone is responding to the call for PPE.
She says they’ve set up a website too.
“That is allowing for our community to see the exact items that we need, as well as directions for getting those items to the hospital,” she says.
Montary donations can also be made.
