The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting three more cases of COVID-19.

Officials say two are a man and woman in their 70’s from the region who were repatriated from a cruise ship by the Canadian Government.

They were transported to CFB Trenton on March 10th where they were in quarantine for ten days.

While in quarantine they developed symptoms and were isolated and tested positive for COVID-19.

They are now recovering at home and will isolate for another 14 days from when they showed symptoms.

Meantime, the Health Unit website says they were notified of another travel-related case today (Saturday).

An investigation is underway.

That brings the total to four cases in the North Bay Parry Sound District, including the first case announced on Thursday.
