There are now 16 cases of COVID-19 in the district as of 3 pm Monday.

The Health Unit’s website shows one of the new cases is a female under 20 who acquired the virus through community transmission while the other case, a woman in her 50’s, acquired the virus through close contact of a case.

Both are self-isolating.

Two of the 16 total cases are hospitalized, four are self-isolating and 10 are resolved.

Twelve of the cases are in Nipissing with four in Parry Sound.
