There’s still a few days left for local children to get involved in the city’s Canada Day poster challenge.

Kids are being encouraged to draw the greatest Canadian images to be proud of.

Officials are looking for pictures, in a semi-collage format, that show how people, places and events have made us proud of our country.

They suggest it’s important to consider how Canada has grown through significant social, cultural and historic acheivements and technological innovations.

There are three age categories (0-4 years, 5-9 years and 10-14 years) with prizes up for grabs.

Winning posters will also be featured on The City of North Bay’s Facebook page.

Step one: Complete your poster
Step two: Have a parent or guardian post the picture to Facebook and hashtag #northbaycanadianpride and tag @cityofnorthbay.ca

Check out the city’s Facebook page for more information.

The deadline is Canada Day, July 1st.
