The summer drive-in returns to North Bay tonight.

Horizon Drive-In is a pop up company that is setting up drive-ins across the north this summer and tonight they’ll be at Memorial Gardens.

Co-owner Ben McKenzie says they’ve had support from the city is setting this up.

“The city of North Bay has been the best city in Northern Ontario to deal with. They’ve moved us forward. North Bay Tourism has stepped up and supported this event and community members have reached out too,” he says.

He says tickets are 50 % sold for tonight and there are plans for other shows in the north.

The movies tonight are Grease followed by The Conjuring.
