North Bay City Council has given the green light to a couple of proposed developments.

It’s signed off on two pre-servicing agreements.

Community Services Committee Chair Johannne Brousseau says one is for stage two of the Highland Woods Development for property that takes in Bain Drive, Airport Road and Golf Club Road.

“When it’s all done there will be 64 homes and 41 condo units,” she says.

Brousseau says the other pre-servicing agreement concerns stage one of a development on Thompson Avenue just off Lakeshore Drive.

“They’re going to extend Thompson Avenue. There’ll be lots for single detached and semi detached dwellings and the the start of the servicing work for the construction of the 67 unit condominium unit building is in place,” Brousseau says.
