Another signing for the Powassan Voodoos.

The NOJHL club has added 2002 birth year defenceman Cameron Savoie, a graduate of the Niagara North Stars U18 AAA program.

Savoie, who’s from St Catharines, scored three goals and 8 assists in 32 games last year.

He’s enrolled in the Respiratory program at Canadore College this fall.

“I’m excited to continue my hockey career with the Voodoos because of the history and how welcome I have felt,” said Savoie. “Joining the small-town community where hockey is their sport and being known that I am a leader and where young kids can look up to me. Whenever the season starts I’ll be ready.”

The Voodoos are still waiting for more direction from Hockey Canada, the OHF and the NOJHL as to when the 2020-21 season is set to begin.
