The North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce is encouraging local businesses to complete a survey on air travel locally.

Officials say the Jack Garland Airport and the City of North Bay are working to restore regularly scheduled passenger air service to and from Toronto.

Air Canada recently announced it’s decision to indefinitely suspend the service locally, which was halted in March because of COVID-19.

An email from the Chamber to it’s members says Bearskin Airlines, a Division of Perimeter Aviation has been serving Northwestern Ontario since 1963 and Northeastern Ontario including North Bay since 1992/1993 and is considering filling this void in service.
