The city says construction of the West Link multi-use pathway will get underway in the first week of September.

The project includes two-way sections of multi-use pathway separated from the road by a curb, along with a section of bike lanes connecting Gormanville Road to the Main Street West intersection and link up with the Kate Pace Way on Memorial Drive.

Construction of the pathway with take place over the next two to three months on Main West and the west end of Memorial Drive.

Improvements to the intersection and a new signalized pedestrian/cyclist crossing at Timmins Street will be completed in 2021.
