The city says as of this morning the detour at the intersection of Olive Street and Cassells Street will be reduced to one lane.

Crews are doing sewer and water infrastructure work.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place and the work is expected to take two weeks.

Meantime, the Cassells Street intersections at Chippewa and Princess streets are back open for additional north/south travel.

The city also says road reconstruction on Laurentian Avenue is expected to wrap up by the middle of this week.

The street will be reduced to a single lane for traffic entering from Trout Lake Road starting today to allow for paving and final restoration.

Officials say the road will fully reopen once the work is completed.
