North Bay Police have charged a 43 year old male with 21 offenses after they were called to a report of a domestic related assault on Saturday.

The charges include sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, pointing a weapon, uttering threats, forcible confinement and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Police say on Saturday the female victim attended a North Bay residence to collect some property.

Once inside the residence she was accosted, assaulted and subsequently sexually assaulted.

Police say the victim reported that she had been subjected to multiple incidents of assaultive behavior.

Upon arrest police seized flick knives, Two semi-automatic .22 caliber long rifles, One 12-gauge shotgun, ammunition for the firearms and one conducted energy device (CED) and 73.3 grams of suspected cocaine.

Meantime, North Bay Police say bones found yesterday under the Trout Lake Overpass aren’t human.
