OPP look for two males in connection with attempted break-in into ATM

Nipissing West OPP are investigating an attempted break-in and mischief to a automated teller machine at a Caisse Alliance in Field.

This happened just before 5 am last Friday morning.

Police say two unknown males wearing masks, black clothing, gloves, balaclavas, a headlamp, orange glasses, tan coloured work boots and carrying tools, were observed shooting the camera lens with a paintball gun.

They say this failed and then efforts were made to blur the surveillance cameras by smearing the paint from the painballs, in order to attack the ATM and then the culprits tried to break into the ATM using their tools but were unsuccessful and left the scene on foot.
