Several reports are coming to Council tonight.

As mentioned yesterday one involves a funding application to offset COVID-19 pressures and operating costs.

Another report coming forward tonight involves water rates for next year, with a slight increase being recommended.

Depending on monthly consumption, the increase for a basic customer bill would start at about $4.

The report also notes that more water was used this year and it’s likely related to the pandemic.

Also on the agenda tonight are reports on design services for Trout Lake Road rehabilitation and increased costs with the McIntyre Parking Garage rehabiltiation.

The budget schedule is the only item on the Committee meeting agenda.

Three special committee meetings are also lined up for this week, involving water-related budget items.
