Silver relay

A silver medal for Team Canada, including former North Bay Y Titan Dominique Bouchard in the final of the women’s 4x100m Medley Relay at the Pan Am Games.

The team finished 2nd in the final tonight (Saturday) at the Toronto aquatics venue, with a time of 3:58.51

Bouchard swam the first leg for Team Canada, in a time of 1:00:85.

Team Canada finished 2nd in the morning heat, giving them the 5th lane in the final.

The race wraps ups Bouchard‘s Pan Am Games, which includes two silver medals.

She was second in the 200 metre backstroke, on Wednesday.

In that race, she had a time of 2:09:74, just 1.52 seconds behind fellow Canadian Hilary Caldwell, who won gold.

On Friday, Bouchard missed the podium in the 100 metre backstroke final by 0.05 seconds, as she finished fourth.

She swam the race in a time of 1:00.54 at the Toronto aquatics venue.

Next up, Bouchard is competing with Team Canada in the World Championship coming up in two weeks in Russia.
