GoodrowGDCurrent San Jose Shark and former Battalion captain was in the city on Monday.

Barclay Goodrow made a pit stop at GD2GO signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

While the former captain has enjoyed his time playing at the Shark Tank, he also hasn’t forgotten about the times he has played at the Memorial Gardens.

“I’ve been lucky the past two years,” said Goodrow.”

I’ve been playing at some pretty cool home arenas and it’s even louder in San Jose than North Bay, with 20 000 more people watching. So, it’s been great and it’s nice to play in front of a big audience.”

The Battalion alumni also talked about his transition from the OHL to the NHL.

“You go from a pretty small stage to the biggest hockey stage in the world,” stated Goodrow.

“It was a fun experience and I’m looking forward to getting back next year.”

After GD2GOGoodrow attended the Battalion golf tournament and proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre.
