Battalion Forward Brett McKenzie will be playing for Team OHL in both games of the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series taking place in OHL cities next month.

He’ll take to the ice here in North Bay on November 10th and in Hamilton on November 14th. Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler will be an assistant coach  in the local game while James Borrelli is the Athletic Therapist/Equipment Manager and Daryl Ashenden is the Assistant Equipment Manager.

McKenzie says making the team is an important step for him in his OHL career.

Butler says he feels good for McKenzie.

He says he’s off to a good start this season and his efforts are being recognized.

Also suiting up in North Bay will be Saginaw Spirit netminder Evan Cormier, who previously played for the Battalion.
