OPP There’s a new Detachment Commander for North Bay OPP – Staff Sergeant Laura Houliston has been selected to fill the position.

Staff Sergeant Irving Sloss has retired and Houliston will start in the new position on June 1st.

Houliston will be the first female in this role.

She has 20 years of experience policing and in a release says “I am very excited and privileged for the opportunity to lead the North Bay Detachment.”
