Area water levels could rise this weekend

The North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority says the watershed will see rising water levels this weekend.

Officials say with temperatures beginning to rise the remaining snow will melt, and add to the water levels.

Municipalities are encouraged to monitor water crossings, and keep a close watch on local conditions.

The flood outlook will remain in effect until Monday afternoon.
