The North Bay Battalion look to keep the momentum going as they entertain Barrie tonight Thursday) at Memorial Gardens.

It’s Game Four of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals and the Troops are coming off a 4-2 win in which forward Ryan Kujawinski scored a highlight reel goal.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says Kujawinski is playing some of the best hockey of his OHL career right now and it shows in his big goal from game three.

He says “the ‘D’ he blew by, they are pretty good players. Those guys are going to be drafted pretty high in the National Hockey League so yeah; (Kujawinski) is playing really well for us.

Butler says his team is showing their experience from last year’s deep playoff run to the OHL finals.

He says “somebody once said to me a true warrior is a person who can do it at the moment of truth – and that’s how a lot of our guys are. You watch how (Brenden) Miller plays and how (Marcus) McIvor plays and how (Nick) Paul plays and that’s gotta be contagious for a lot of players.”

The Troops have a 2-1 series lead; find out if they can make it 3-1 tonight on Country 600 CKAT, beginning with the pregame show at 6:35 pm.
