North Bay’s Logan Baker finished 8th in his division the 85 Kilo class at the FISU World University and College weightlifting finals in Mexico.

The 23 year old representing his country and Canadore College set new personal bests in the snatch, clean and jerk and total as well.

He lifted 134 Kilos in the snatch, 160 in the clean and jerk for a total of 294.

He also set North Bay Norsemen records in the snatch and clean and jerk.
