Battalion rookie defenceman Cam Dineen has moved up 78 spots in the NHL Central Scouting final rankings list.

He is now 39th after coming in at 117th in the mid-term rankings.

Dineen finished his first OHL season with North Bay with 59 points, second most as a rookie and second most as a defenceman. Meantime, fellow first year forward Justin Brazeau went from the 207th spot to 179th in the final rankings.

Max Kislinger and Zach Poirier appeared on the mid-term rankings but were left off the final list.

Meantime, a North Bay native is high on the list among North American Goaltenders.

Colton Point, who is playing with Carleton Place of the CCHL is ranked 4th.

He was 17th in the midterm rankings and played for the North Bay Trappers in 2014-2015.
