Luke Bryan is headed to The Voice. The “Crash My Party” singer confirmed to The Tennessean on Monday that he will serve as a member for Blake Shelton’s team during season 12 of the show. “I just want people that truly love singing… I just want to them to be put in a situation where they don’t ever have to really give up on it, you know?” Bryan tells the outlet. He goes on to explain what he liked most about serving as a mentor, adding, “I enjoy being in the moment with those artists and in my gut feeling, tell them the best thing I can tell them and really lift them up,” In the episodes he filmed last week, Bryan will sit in rehearsals with Shelton and his contestants and offer guidance on everything from stage presence to song arrangements. Season 12 premieres February 27 on NBC.
