Meals on Wheels program looking for volunteer help

There is a need for more volunteers to help with the Meals on Wheels program in North Bay.

Mayor Al McDonald paid a visit to Cassellholme this past week to talk about the program.

He says it’s an opportunity to go out and see what the volunteers to serve meals for seniors who can’t cook for themselves. McDonald says it’s a very rewarding experience to deliver meals to seniors who you get to know on a personal level.

He says they are always looking for volunteers and if you’re interested email the local chapter of the Victorian Order of Nurses Canada.
