Students raise money for Syrian Family

A Syrian family will be welcomed graciously by students from South River Public School.

The students have been studying Syrian culture and raising funds to help sponsor the resettling family from Syria. They have raised $776 for CARE – a local community organization who is spearheading the area fundraising efforts.

The students helped out by holding Dance-A -Thon and completing chores at home to raise the money.
