Your Water Bill Is Going Up In Callander

Citing a need for repairs, capital expenses and rehabilitation work the monthly bill will be $5.41 higher on average.

The new quarterly charge is $53.30 and that represents a 7% increase.

In making the decision Callander Council says the increased dollars will be spent on maintenance and rehabilitation of lift stations, installation of the soda ash injection system and replacement of valves and curb stops.
