Mattawa’s biggest party turns 20 this summer and Voyageur Days is bringing in three of the bands that played at the very first event.

Co-chair Jacques Begin says Trooper, Toronto and the Headpins, which is the Darby Mills Project now will be on stage at Explorers Point in July.

Prism is also part of the Saturday line-up.

As for Friday night, Begin says they have a special event.

“We’re rebuilding Big Joe Mufferaw,” he says, pointing out the re-carving work is underway. “We’ll be doing a dedication that night and we have Stompin’ Tom Connors son come to play, Taw Connors,” Begin added.

The Road Hammers and Dan Davidson are also performing that night.

There will regional and local music Sunday afternoon then at night three tribute acts, Hotel California, Little Bones and Green River will be on stage.

Wristbands are $40 including tax.

The price goes up to $50 after March 10th.
