A cheque presentation to Laurentian Ski Hill from the Nipissing Assocation for Disabled Youth.
Laurentian General Manager Cam Graham says the four-thousand dollars is helping them run the successful NADY programming at the ski hill.
“they created a cheque and bought us a whole bunch of equipment so that we can keep their kids coming out,” he said. “There are now over 70 kids coming out on the weekends”
The program runs each weekend in January and February, with Laurentian providing the equipment and volunteer instruction.
Graham says they’ve ordered 20 sets of equipment, which will allow NADY to grow the program even further.
