Mattawa OPP have charged a 33 year old male after an incident last night.

Police say the man has been charged with assault, assault peace officer, resisting a peace officer and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

Police say the charges were laid after an incident in which a man was intoxicated and out of control.
