The North Bay Battalion lost 5-2 in Sudbury on Friday night.

With the victory the Wolves clinched a playoff spot.

North Bay can still mathematically make the postseason, but it’ll require a win on Sunday at home against Kingston and two Niagara losses, in regulation time.

If that happens the Battalion would host the IceDogs in a tiebreaker game.

Adam Thilander and Daniil Vertiy scored for North Bay in last night’s loss.

The Powassan Voodoos won game one of their playoff series with Kirkland Lake by a score of 5-1 last night.

Parker Bowman scored twice with three other Voodoos adding singles.

Game two in the best of seven series goes tomorrow night at 7 pm at the Powassan Sportsplex.
