Kevin’s Longest Morning is underway on KiSS 100.5.

Morning show host Kevin Oschefski is staying on the air for 29 straight hours raising money for Rotary For Kids.

Donations will help area children with special needs in a number of ways, from covering uninsured medical costs, mobility devices, recreational programs and much more.

NADY President Jim Stewart says it’s a big event for them.

“The most heartwarming thing is to see the smiles on the faces of the kids and everything that everybody is doing is all for the right reason,” he says.

Stewart says the funds stay in the community and make a real difference.

“It’s right here in North Bay, we have no administration, no overhead, all the funds raised go directly into the programs,” he added.

Donations can be dropped off on location at Northgate, online at longestmorning.ca or by phone 705-499-3109.

Over $75,000 was raised last year.
